Emotional Eating

On Thursday August 14 our special guest will be JoLynn Braley, author of The Fit Shack.

On her blog linked above JoLynn went through the 12 week emotional eating Program of Dr. Roger Gould.

Dr. Gould is a psychiatrist at UCLA an author of a book on this topic. He has an online course that with the

book is 8 sessions over 12 weeks. JoLynn has completed this and has documented some of her experience

in the linked area above.

I hope you will be thinking of questions that you can ask in advance when the webpage link is emailed to

to you. I will be assembling a discussion guide, so you will know the areas we will be discussing by

Tuesday August 12.

If you have questions that can’t wait email them to me, and I will forward them to JoLynn.

A great 20 minute workout. Do what you can. Do not push it or strain. Go as far as you can and do what is allowed. Skip exercises that are prohibited for you (if you have a joint replacement, or severely damaged or arthritic joint.) http://www.oprah.com/slideshow/omagazine/slideshow2_ss_health_omag_200704_oz/20

Omron Pocket Pedometer

This Pedometer does not have to be on your belt. It can be around your neck or in your pocket or purse.

It has time display, a timer and a step counter. I found this on another site at twice the Amazon price.

The unit comes with pc software so you can track your steps and progress.
